Ultra-widescreen[edit]

Manually modify the game executable[1]
  1. Open <path-to-game>\Helios\Binaries\Win64\Little Nightmares II.exe in a hex editor (e.g. HxD).
  2. Search and replace 39 8E E3 3F with 26 B4 17 40 (for 2560x1080) or any other aspect ratio in hex.
  3. Search and replace 3B 8E E3 3F as above.
  4. Save the file, overwriting the original.
  5. Follow the instructions to enable the developer console in the game.
  6. Enter FOV X where X is the desired value.
Steam version executable needs to be unpacked with Steamless before modification.

Chromatic aberration[edit]

Issues fixed[edit]

Game crashes to desktop on Windows 7[edit]

Modify the game executable[citation needed]
These steps only work with the release day version (GOG build 54104381040274247, Steam build 6144821).
  1. Go to <path-to-game>\Helios\Binaries\Win64\.
  2. For the Steam version, unpack Little Nightmares II.exe with Steamless.
  3. Open Little Nightmares II.exe in a hex editor such as HxD.
  4. Go to offset 0x51FBB1 and replace 0x75 with 0xEB.
  5. Save the change.
