Go to the configuration files location. Open `config.cfg`. Find the line `uset r_vsync="1"` and change it to `uset r_vsync="0"`. Save the file.

Issues fixed

Anti-aliasing is not selectable in the DirectX mode

Set anti-aliasing manually^[6]

Go to the configuration file(s) location.
Open config.cfg with a text editor.
Find uset r_msaa "x" and replace "x" with 2, 4, 8 or 16.

Note that the in-game option for anti-aliasing will still display "Off".
