Version differences
SpellForce 2: Dragon Storm
- SpellForce 2: Dragon Storm is an expansion to SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars and comes with a campaign scenario, Skirmish Mode, and Free Play mode which allows the players to run the game without any known missions. Throughout the storyline the player will encounter new allies or enemies dependent on the choices of the player.
- SpellForce 2: Gold Edition includes the base game and the Dragon Storm expansion.
- SpellForce 2: Anniversary Edition is an updated digital-only variant of the Gold Edition which includes native widescreen resolution support, bug fixes, additions to the free game mode, and a redirected multiplayer server.
