Infamous: Second Son
Native support. Second Son has tons of situations that require players to use the touchpad, from placing their fingers on the right part to get through security checkpoints, absorbing powers, to stealth kills. You can even use it for Delsin's graffiti art by tapping the touchpad.[3]
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Native support. Touchpad functionality came into play via the mini-games, where its responsiveness could be used to control various hit mechanics, such as Superman's eye beams.[3]
Killzone Shadow Fall
Native support. Players control the OWL weapon through the touchpad on the controller.[3] Swiping either up, down, left or right would change the function of the drone unit on your back.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
Native support. Thanks to the PS4's touchpad, which offered full control of the map via swipe and click functionality.[3]
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Native support. The game has a large map and encourages players to freely roam the world and complete objectives in any order they see fit. An important item in the game is the iDroid, which has a number of functions, including bringing up the map and calling in transport. And using all these functions is as simple as using the touchpad.[3]
NBA 2K14
Native support. The touchpad came into use quite prominently in NBA 2K14 by allowing players to switch up their strategy by swiping it to switch between 1-3-1, 2-3 or other techniques to throw off the opposition.In addition, pressing down on the touchpad allowed gamers to check the rhythm of the player in question, and their confidence on the court. This helped gamers strategize the best plays, depending on the fortitude of the individual player.[3]
NBA 2K18
Native support. Calls quick plays with swipes.[5]
Persona 5 Royal
Native support. You can pet the Morgana bus.[5]
Rayman Legends
Native support. The scratch cards in game, you'd scratch the touch pad.[5]
Tearaway Unfolded
Native support. Player can draw tools and objects on the touchpad.[3]

Native support. It's used as an option for navigating the map.[5]
The Last of Us Part II
Native support. There's guitar segments.[4]
The Witcher 3
Native support. Each of the four swipe directions opens another menu screen.[5]
Thief
Native support. Use the touchpad to select your arrow type. The touchpad got segmented into ten or so sections, each with a designated arrow type/gadget. If you moved your finger along the pad it would bring up all of the options (without pausing the game) and you would have to hover over the right one and click down to select. Overtime, you would start to get used to it and you could just click down on the specific part of the touchpad to equip specific arrow types.[5]
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
Native support. Player can light and ignite torches using the touchpad.[3]
Until Dawn
Native support. Until Dawn using the touchpad for situations like when you're turning a page, unlocking a smartphone, or lighting a match.[3]
War Thunder
Native support. War Thunder after update 27.05.2020 (1.99.0.15) you've been able to bind so many functions to it if your using custom control settings.[5]
Watch Dogs
Native support. Access the map by just pressing the touchpad.[3]
