Kerbal Space Program 2 is a singleplayer free-roaming camera simulation and vehicle simulator game in the Kerbal Space Program series.
The game released into Early Access on February 24, 2023.
The developers promised upcoming major performance optimizations, scaling down some graphical aspects more on lower settings to improve performance, switching to Unity's HDRP renderer (improved visual quality and performance), Science Mode, colonies, interstellar exploration (new star systems) and multiplayer.[1][2][3]
The first patch during the Early Access period brought with it a laptop audio mode, many performance optimizations, loading optimizations, several improvements, many bugfixes and more.[4]
