Fairy Tail is a singleplayer third-person JRPG game developed by Gust Co. Ltd. and published by Koei Tecmo. The game is based on the popular anime series Fairy Tail.

The game released on July 30, 2020 on Steam. In a port analysis written by Kurt Perry for PC Invasion, the title was described as "a capable port that plays at a smooth 60 FPS with very few performance issues", although "it could be argued that the port is a little overly simplistic and lacking in some of the standard PC options we’ve gotten used to".[1]

Remapping

Change keyboard or controller keybindings through a config file
  1. Navigate to <path-to-game>.
  2. Open game.ini in a text editor.
    • For the keyboard:
    1. Look for the [KeybordKeyAssign] line to make changes below it.
    2. For example, to rebind the "B" button to another key, edit CIRCLE=L to CIRCLE=X (X being the new keyboard key).
All QWERTZ and QWERTY buttons can be assigned.
    • For the gamepad:
    1. Look for the [PadKeyAssign] line to make changes below it.
    2. For example, to rebind the "Α" to the "B" button, edit CROSS=CROSS to CROSS=CIRCLE
Only DualShock 4 keys are available to be assigned but they get applied accordingly to XInput controllers.
  3. Save the file and start the game.
An official way to rebind keys is planned for a future update.[5]
