On some systems, particularly later versions of Windows such at 8.1, there is a chance that the game may not uninstall properly by leaving a blank shortcut in the Windows Games Explorer. Here is a quick way to clean it up:
+
# Open [[regedit]]
# Launch the Windows Registry Editor (from the Run window, enter "regedit") and use the pane on the left to navigate to <code>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameUX\</code>.
+
# Navigate to <code>{{p|hklm}}\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameUX\Games</code>
# Open the "Games" folder tree and select individual games one at a time.

# Look at the registry data for each entry under this folder until one of them is for your install location of Driver San Francisco.

# Just to be safe, make a backup of this registry entry by right-clicking it and saving the file somewhere familiar. This can be imported through the "File" menu in the Registry Editor if you mess up.

# Delete the registry entry in the Registry Editor by right-clicking it and selecting delete.
