Problem launching the game

Use dgVoodoo2
  1. Download the latest version of dgVoodoo 2.
  2. Extract dgVoodooCpl.exe and the contents of the MS\x86 subfolder to <path-to-game>.
  3. (optional) Run dgVoodooCpl.exe in game folder and unmark dgVoodoo Watermark in DirectX.
  4. Run game.
Disable visual themes (Windows 7)[3]
Reduce hardware acceleration (Windows XP)[citation needed]
If you experience slowdowns when playing videos, please reduce the audio hardware acceleration level:
  1. Press ⊞ Win+R, type dxdiag and press ↵ Enter.
  2. In the "Sound" tab, lower the acceleration to Standard.
  3. Exit and restart the game.
Add the game to the DEP exclusion list[citation needed]
  1. Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties.
  2. Choose Advanced system settings, then click on the Advanced tab.
  3. Click the first Settings... button.
  4. In the Data Execution Prevention tab, choose the "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" option and add the game executable below.
  5. Apply all changes and start the game again.
