- For Direct3D8 on Windows 8 and 10, use d3d8to9. Using installed DirectX 8 may be broken.

- For 3dfx Voodoo3 on modern systems, use dgVoodoo 2.
Allow cars from Le Mans game mode to quick race and championship mode
- The Le Mans 2000 cars are only available exclusively for Le Mans game mode. Now it's open for quick race and championship mode.

- Open
teams.txt inside Data.zip with Notepad++.
- Click on Find tab then, Replace or hold Ctrl+H.
- Type 2000 at Find text bar to 1999 at 'Replace with:' text bar and click on Replace all.
- Save the file and copy inside Data.zip.
Notes
- Entering Le Mans game mode might brokes on car selection menu. Selecting "GT" crashes the game but "Open Prototype" may be sufficient to complete playing game in this mode for unlocking cars.
- This will race with all drivers from Le Mans game mode.

- It only seems to affect Windows 8.1. The file teams.txt is missing after installing the game. There's no fix known.

Low framerate, stuttering on modern systems
Installer issues on modern versions of Windows
- Installer for this game is unsupported. Also it prompts a error message "Intel version of Windows 98/ME 2K/XP required" using Intel GPUs.[5]

- Copy the "Le Mans 24 Hours" folder off the disc located in the installation folder.
- Put the copied version of the Infogrames version back and rename it.
- Run
Lemans.exe in <path-to-game> .

Settings in game and progress does not save
- The file Data.zip appears to be encrypted and that it can't save game settings and progress on modern systems.
Broken steering control in game
Delete Controls.cfg in <path-to-game>\Data .
