Tell Me Why is an episodic single-player third-person adventure game developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios. According to Dontnod, it is the first game from a major studio to feature a playable transgender character.[2]
The first of three chapters of the game was released on August 27, 2020 on Microsoft Store and Steam, additionally available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass. On August 31, the Steam version became unavailable to purchase in 26 countries.[3][4] The second chapter of Tell Me Why was released on September 3, followed by the third on September 10.
