Key points
- DRM: Most games are open-source freeware. A select few require serial keys or online accounts.
- Architectures: Virtually all games support 64-bit (amd64). Many games also support one or more of the following: 32-bit (i386), ARM32 (armhf), ARM64, PowerPC (ppc64el), and System z (s390x).
- "Snaps" are easy to install (on almost all variants of Linux), secure, and dependency‐free.
- Natively integrated into recent versions of Ubuntu.
- High overlap with distros' own package repositories.
- A majority of the game listings are not handled by the game developers themselves.
- Some of the games are unauthorized Wine wrappings of Windows games (although they aren't piracy), a major example of which is TrackMania United Forever. Some of those game also don't disclose that they're using Wine, as opposed to being Linux ports.
