Bethesda.net is a online service and was once a video game store and distribution platform operated by Bethesda Softworks.
The store and the launcher was launched in 2016. In April 2022, Bethesda announced that the store will closed on May 11 of the same year, and users are encouraged to migrate to Steam.[1]
Even though the store was closed, accessing online multiplayer in Bethesda-published games on other platforms still requires user to log in with a Bethesda.net account.
