Itch.io is a video game hosting, distribution website operated by the itch.io team.

Game developers can publish free and paid games on the website, with some games being published as DRM-free games (See list of DRM Free games on Itch.io for more info). Unlike most storefronts, Itch.io employs the 'Pay what you want' pricing model, where developers are free to set scaling a minimum price for their games published on the site.[2]

In addition to direct download through browser, games can be downloaded through Itch.io's optional client.[3] To protect the users, Itch.io support two-factor authentication via a authenticator app.[4]

itch.io was launched on March 3, 2013.
