Mary Skelter 2 is a singleplayer first-person JRPG and visual novel game in the Mary Skelter series.

Key points

Supports arbitrary 16:9 resolution options, going up to the maximum supported display resolution.
Ported from the technically inferior Nintendo Switch release (The only other release available in English), with drastically different lighting from the original Japan exclusive PS4 release, and the deferred graphics pipeline replaced in favor of a forward rendering pipeline with downgraded material complexity.

Notes

  1. When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/1496250/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (1496250) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
  3. When attempting to force a custom resolution, the UI becomes stretched and mesh culling begins to be noticeable above a 32:10 aspect ratio.[1]
  4. Certain 2D elements such as character bustups use 2048x2048 texture atlases, which are then used with 1920x1080 render targets.[4]
  5. As of Update 1.10, the mouse wheel can be used to cycle between blood abilities. However, this cannot be remapped.[12]
