Key points

A modernized remake of the original Gundemonium (2003).
Overseas version features D-pad support for XInput controllers, custom resolution settings, and an arranged soundtrack.
Unfortunately, as of July 31, 2019, the overseas version has been delisted at the request of the developer until further notice.[1] The older Amazon version has not been affected at the moment.

Remapping[edit]

Not every key can be remapped in-game; edit gundrec.ini to change other keys.
gundrec.ini[citation needed]

Notes

Read the instructions in gundrec.ini carefully.

1. Go to the installation folder and open gundrec.ini

2. Change the value of KeyboardMode to 2

Changing KeyboardMode to 2 ignores the settings in the in-game key configuration menu. However, Mode 2 allows for direct binding to gameplay functions.

3. Edit the [Keyboard] section as described in the file.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/92200/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (92200) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
