Game doesn't work on Windows 10

Use "The Win 3.1 Fix Project"
  1. Download "The Win 3.1 Fix Project"
  2. Unzip the folder The Dark Eye Fix somewhere on your computer.
  3. Insert The Dark Eye CD, go to the folder on the disc called SETUP.
  4. Inside that folder is the file DKYINSTL.EXE.
  5. Open the The Dark Eye Fix folder and find the program otvdm.exe.
  6. Drag DKYINSTL.EXE from the CD into otvdm.exe.
  7. During install, make sure to uncheck "QuickTime For Windows 2.03".
  8. After Install, go to <path-to-game>.
  9. Drag DARKEYE.EXE into otvdm.exe and the game should start.
The game is made for 640×480, set the resolution to either that or 800x600 for full screen.
