Game displays an error on stage loading or crashes when the resolution is set to above 1920x1200

Use the dgVoodoo2 wrapper[3]
  1. Download dgVoodoo2.
  2. Extract dgVoodooCpl.exe, dgVoodoo.conf, MS\x86\D3DImm.dll and MS\x86\DDraw.dll to <path-to-game>.
  3. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe and go to the DirectX tab.
  4. Change Videocard to GeForce FX 5700 Ultra with 256MB VRAM.
  5. Check Fast video memory access and uncheck dgVoodoo Watermark.
  6. (Optionally) Change Filtering to Force anisotropic x16 and Antyaliasing (MSAA) to the preferred value.

Game crashes and/or freezes on the initial splash screen

  1. Download dinputto8.
  2. Extract dinput.dll to <path-to-game>.
