Disable camera sway

The vanilla version of GreedFall has a camera sway effect that has caused discomfort for some players.
Remove camera swaying motions[4]
  1. Download the Camera overhaul mod from NexusMods.
  2. Extract the files into GreedFall's installation folder.

Notes

This mod will remove the default camera swaying motions, expand the FOV slider, remove the camera shake effect on hit, and normalize certain FOV transitions.
Both SLI files can be opened and edited using standard text editors to fine-tune values.

No voices in dialogue

According to the official FAQ, this bug is related to using Windows virtual surround sound features.
Disable Virtual Surround Sound[6]
  1. In the taskbar, right-click the audio/volume icon and select Open Sound Settings.
  2. Click on Open Sound Settings.
  3. After selecting the correct audio output device, click Device Properties.
  4. Set Spatial sound format to Off.
  5. Under Additional Device Properties, find the Spatial sound tab and ensure that 7.1 virtual sound sound is disabled.

Issues unresolved

Incorrect voice lines for male/female character

Some users have noted that certain voice lines will play incorrectly based on gender (e.g. being referred to as "sir" in a playthrough with the female character or vice versa).[7]
The cause is unknown; however, this only happens occasionally, and English subtitles are generally correct.
