- Create a new folder named
GHOSTBUSTERS
|
Audio/Video desync in cinematics
- Some cinematics are encoded at 3840x2160 and run slightly slowly on some computers, causing desynchronization of video and audio tracks
Metal bars across exit won't move
- Metal bars blocking an exit can be grabbed using the proton beam, but do not move.
grab the beams with the capture stream and then walk backwards.

Interaction prompts fail to trigger at 120 fps
- When played at 120 fps, some interaction prompts fail to trigger correctly, resulting only in a walking animation towards the trigger point (e.g. entering yellow portals or activating power switches).
Enable 30fps cap then reload checkpoint
|
enter the settings menu and toggle 30 fps cap to ON. Reload the game from the last checkpoint, and try the prompt again. The 30 fps cap can be disabled as soon as the interaction prompt is correctly activated.

Licensed content restoration
- Restores licensed brands and items from the original version of the game: the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor that the Ecto-1 is built out of, several retro advertisements such as the 1991 Doritos ads, and New York license plates.
This section may require
cleanup to meet basic
quality standards. The specific problem is:
the meaning of .\
is ambiguous; consider rewriting for clarity. You can help by
modifying
the article. The
discussion page may contain useful suggestions.
- The game's music is stored as Ogg Vorbis files, but these files are contained within proprietary containers and archives.
Use scripts to isolate music files[7]
|
Prerequisite programs:
Directions:
- Download and run the
ghostbusters_pod.bms QuickBMS script (direct link) to extract <path-to-game>\W64MUSND.POD to a new folder.
- Download StripSmp.sh and run the
.sh file in the .\sound\music subdirectory of the folder where the .POD file was extracted.
- There should now be a new folder at
.\sound\music\vorbis containing the music and ambience files. If desired, use zzz_FixExtensions.bat to rename the files from .smp.ogg to just .ogg .
