Native ultrawide resolutions cannot be selected in the options menu. Select a resolution with a matching vertical value to your screen. True fullscreen stretches the image. Borderless windowed results in a full resolution image with Vert- scaling. You can compensate for this using the Field of view (FOV) section below. [1]
4K Ultra HD
2560x1440 is the highest selectable resolution. This will scale correctly to your higher resolution screen if you select windowed fullscreen. This will stretch to fit your screen if you select true fullscreeen.[2]

Field of view (FOV)

Change the Field of View (FOV) with Unreal Engine Unlocker
Cutscenes and hard loading screens reset this value until it is set again.
  1. Download Unreal Engine Unlocker and run it as an administrator after launching the game.
  2. Press ~ to open the console in-game, or use your custom mapped console key.
  3. Type FOV ### to set a value of your choosing.
  4. Press enter to apply.
  5. Repeat these steps after death or cutscenes.
Change vertical FOV constraint settings by modifying Engine.ini
Does not allow custom FOV values, only constrains your vertical FOV value across aspect ratios; results may vary.
Using this option in combination with the method above may result in inconsistent results. Cutscenes will reset this modification, requiring you to enter a higher custom value in the console to compensate.
  1. Navigate to %LOCALAPPDATA%\fnaf9\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.
  2. Open Engine.ini in any text editor.
  3. Press Ctrl+End to jump to the end of the file, and press Enter to add a new line. (Optionally press Enter once more to add empty space between sections.)
  4. Using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, copy and paste the following lines on the bottom of the file:
[/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

5. Save the document with Ctrl+S and close it.

VSync

Enable VSync by modifying GameUserSettings.ini
  1. Navigate to %LOCALAPPDATA%\fnaf9\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.
  2. Open GameUserSettings.ini in any text editor.
  3. Using Ctrl+F, Locate the bUseVSync=False line and change "False" to "True" so that the line reads bUseVSync=True.
  4. Save the document with Ctrl+S and close it.
