Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg[Note 1] is a singleplayer JRPG game developed by Gust Co. Ltd.. It is the first main installment in the Atelier series and the first entry in the Salburg trilogy.

Despite its name, the PC version is based on the Atelier Marie Plus: The Alchemist of Salburg[Note 2] re-release for the PlayStation, which itself is a port of the expanded Sega Saturn port of the original PlayStation game. The PC version was released by Imagineer in Japan on April 28, 2000.
