Issues unresolved
Multiplayer crash at 99% loading
Issues fixed
'Cryengine error' and 'DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED'
- Problem is normally caused by faulty or underpowered power supply, or overworked graphics card.
Underclock graphics card[2]
|
Downgrade drivers, from 314.07 to 302.80 Driver, the first driver without WHQL[citation needed]
|
AMD GPUs - add power/wattage to graphics card[4]
|
Memory allocation error on 2GB RAM
- Every time when level ends with outro, game needs at least 600-700 MB of free RAM on low details, to not show the error during first loading of a next level.
Install Smart RAM from IObit[citation needed]
|
When game shows ending section cutscene on the level:
- Set low details.
- Use option "deep cleaning" in Smart RAM.
- In result of deep cleaning option, big amount of RAM is freed.
- You'll encounter short unresponsibility of the system (according to working of versions of the Smart RAM to at least versions till ~August 2016).
- When computer will be responsive again, just come back to the game.
- You can normally change the details, immediately after first loading of a level.
- Since now, game loads normally during the whole level, without any problem, till the next one.
Similar functionality can have CleanMem, but not tested.
- Possibly using NTCore 4GB patcher may fix the issue, like its use was recommended for Crysis 2.

Stuck installation
Reboot Origin into safe mode[5]
|
- Reboot Origin into safe mode.
- Reload game.
|
Hacking finishes with no result
- There is a problem with ingame hacking mechanics, where successful hacking will end in no expected result. Example: hacking tutorial will not end, door will not open shortly after single player campaign starts.
Unbind F key[citation needed]
|
There seems to be problem with binding F key. Keep F key unbound or bind it to USE action.
|
Game crashes
PlayerProfiles CGameContext::StartGame: No Users Logged In[citation needed]
|
The game may crash with the above error message when launching a campaign mission. Launch Crysis3.exe as an administrator to avoid this.[6]
|
FPS issues on AMD cards
- Games based on CryEngine have decreased performance on Windows 10 vs 7 on AMD cards[7]. Consider using Windows 7 along with TimerTool set to 0.5ms for the best performance[8] (also on Windows 8). Vega series GPUs also perform worse than RX series on Windows 10 in CryEngine games in comparison to Windows 7[9].
