Key points
- New version for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch features updated content not included in the PC version, though the changes are few.[1]
- If the player's IP address belongs to Japan or Steam's main language is Japanese, the title will be Biohazard: Revelations Unveiled Edition and the game will be referred to as Biohazard: Revelations in the library. These changes have no impact on gameplay.

Video
- The game allows specifying a custom resolution inside the configuration file, but unfortunately using an unsupported resolution (such as 3840x2160) will cause it to crash during the first load screen.
- The RERevHook DLL can fix this crash and allow using almost any custom resolution in the game.
- Latest Steam version (released March 2019) is no longer compatible with Widescreen Fixer fix and causes the game to crash.
It is possible to roll back the game to an older version which makes changing the FOV through WF work again, but this leads to losing other fixes that the latest steam version made like introducing the option to disable aim assist.
- This game uses vertical FOV. See FOV Calculator for help.
Using Widescreen Fixer[citation needed]
|
- Launch Widescreen Fixer and select the game from the drop down menu.
- Click the settings cog icon, disable Automatically Detect Resolution and enter your display count/resolution manually; otherwise the menu/HUD could be scaled incorrectly.
- Adjust the FOV slider to the desired vertical FOV.
- Go to the Settings tab and set the toggle hotkey if you wish.
- Start the game and once you've passed the start screen with the big eye, use Alt+Tab ↹ to go back to the desktop, then you can enable the fix by pressing the hotkey, finally go back to the game.
