DXSETUP.exe
- Go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games
- Go into the game's folder.

DXSETUP.exe here, replacing the existing file.

Origin stops downloading after an ungiven threshold
Start Origin in R&D mode[citation needed]
|
- Exit Origin
- Create a new empty document on your desktop
- Enter the following in the file:
[connection]
EnvironmentName=production
[Feature]
CdnOverride=akamai
- Save the file as EACore.ini
- Now start Origin. Upon start you will be asked if you want to import the file you just created on your desktop. Press Yes. This will overwrite your old config-file.

- Outcome can be used as a replacement of the Origin client, launching games directly with a way lower memory footprint. This is not officially supported, and some Origin integration features are not available when using Outcome.
- In alternative, some older games should just require .par patching
