Widescreen resolution
- Fullscreen acts as a borderless fullscreen instead of actual fullscreen mode and upscales game from base resolution using Nearest-neighbor interpolation, so with resolutions not divideable with that resolution will introduce extreme aliasing and scaling artifacting (see image example). Some assets in "NEO Cartoon" mode are already upscaled making it even worse[1] and this behaviour can't be changed.
- As game is rendered before the scaling, things like overlays are also limited to 720p (see image example FPS counter on top left corner).
- There are few ways to bypass this issue.

Issues fixed
Lack of Sound/Sound Crash (Error 0x80040154)
- Upon launching the game, a prompt appears that reads "Error 0x80040154". The game continues to load. However, after the intro screen for MarvelousAQL, the sound crashes. Upon verifying the integrity of the game's cache, one file fails to validate and Steam downloads a 528 byte file that does not fix the problem.
Manually download and reinstall redistributables[citation needed] |
