Issues fixed

The game doesn't start up

Manually set the renderer to Direct3D[1]

The current version of the available demo has its renderer set to Vulkan by default, which isn't supported by several older CPUs. This makes you unable to start the game, let alone reach the options menu to change it, but you can do it manually:

  1. Create a config file in this location (on Windows): %userprofile%\Documents\Chasm\chasm_config.txt
  2. Paste this text line into it: "Renderer" "DirectX11"
  3. Save the file.

The game should start up properly now, letting you access the options menu to change other video settings as you wish.
