Vivid/stasis (stylized vivid/stasis) is a real-time singleplayer music/rhythm visual novel developed by Team Vividstasis and published by Hajimeli and SKY HOUR WORKS.

The game was released into early access on March 7th, 2023. Version 2.2.0 (July 31st 2023) added Chapter 2, version 2.4.0 (November 11th 2023) added Final Landing, a unique menu to unlock new songs. Version 3.0 is slated for March 8th 2024 and will add Chapter 3.

The game is on version 2.8265.3 as of January 23rd 2024, containing 2 story chapters. Story completion is planned for mid-2025.

Apparent work-in-progress: as of version 2.8365.3, the mouse cannot be used to advance the title screen, only working to select a mode from the main menu, and no further elements from there f.ex. song or story episode selection.

Use of a controller can be set up manually with SteamInput by having button/stick input mimic keystrokes. Also bind arrow keys and Control to the controller to be able to navigate menus and fast-forward through visual novel sections respectively.
