Set resolution in game configuration file.[citation needed]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>.
  2. Open Game.ini with a text editor.
  3. Change the values after GAMEXRES= and GAMEYRES= to the desired screen resolution.

Notes

This change must be repeated any time a change is made in the in-game options menu.
Only resolutions supported by your monitor are accepted; other resolutions will crash the game.
The maximum supported "standard" aspect ratio resolution is 1280x1024; higher resolutions will crash the game.
The maximum supported 16:10 aspect ratio resolution is 1440x900; higher resolutions will crash the game.
The supported resolution with the widest aspect ratio is 1366x768.
