Publisher website		Website doesn't work well with modern browsers. Deactivate adblockers. You have to login before making the purchase. You find your activation key and download link by clicking on "Order Detail" on your Purchases page. You might have to look manually in the browser console for the download file if it gets blocked. This version doesn't use StarForce DRM and works on modern systems.

StarForce DRM for this game does not work on modern versions of Windows (see above for affected versions).

Order from publisher website

The publisher website doesn't work well with modern browsers. If you have problems, follow these steps:

Deactivate any adblockers etc. if you have one.
Go to the game site.
Login (top right) BEFORE trying to buy the game. You can create a new account or link a Steam / Facebook / Google account.
Go to the game page.
Purchase the game.
Go to your Purchases page (top right, hover over profile name -> Purchases).
Wait some time, if it says you're not logged in, it just needs time to load.
Once your see your purchase of Shade: Wrath of Angels, click on Order Detail.
Copy your Serial Key somewhere. Then, click on Download.
If nothing happens, that means your browser blocked the download. On Chrome, Edge or Firefox, open the browser console (F12). Go to the field Console and there, manually click on the blocked download link to download the game installer.
If it redirects you to a page with a certificate error, temporarily disable certificate checks (e.g. for Chrome, do this) and try again.
Once you have downloaded the installer (WoA.exe), execute it to install the game. Use the serial key that you copied previously.

Open the game's audio settings. Set sound quality to "Low". If this is locked, first disable EAX. You can enable EAX again. Restart the game.
