Perpetuum is a multiplayer third-person MMORPG and simulation game.

The game ceased development on January 25, 2018, but was patched with the ability to connect to private, community-made servers.[1]

The game is freeware as of August 2, 2021.[2]

The developers have been continually attempting to mitigate the effects of network-related issues beyond their control since 2011.[3]
Delete Perpetuum.gbf from installation folder[citation needed]
  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Find Perpetuum.gbf and delete it.
  3. Restart the game and allow the game to re-update or, if you're using Steam, verify the game's cache to force the file to be re-downloaded.
Ensure network ports are allowed through your router/firewall[citation needed]

Reduce graphical settings[4]
  1. Go to the "Options" menu of the Options window.
  2. Disable shadows.
  3. Uncheck Render decorational plants.
  4. Set Draw distance to its middle or lowest setting.
