Mega Man Legacy Collection 2[Note 1] is a compilation of singleplayer side view scrolling platform games developed by Now Production and Bullets and published by Capcom. It is the second part of the Mega Man Legacy Collection, following Mega Man Legacy Collection.
The game is an enhanced compilation of several classic Mega Man titles originally developed by Capcom and Inti Creates, and consists of Mega Man 7[Note 2] for the SNES, Mega Man 8[Note 3] for the PlayStation, and Mega Man 9[Note 4] and Mega Man 10[Note 5] for PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360. Players can switch between the English and Japanese releases of all games by changing the compilation's language. Being an enhanced compilation, several additional features were added, including multiple screen filter options, the beginner-friendly Extra Armor Mode and faster loading times.
New to the game are Challenge Mode, Museum Mode and Music Player mode. In the Museum Mode, there's a new concept art included that teased the then-upcoming game, Mega Man 11.[1]
The game was released on August 8, 2017.
