A free demo is available from Archive.org.

Delete movie files (GOG.com version)^[1]
Go to `<path-to-game>`. Open `data.dat` with an archive utility like 7-Zip. Within the archive utility, go to `<path-to-game>\data.dat\Movies`. Delete `Black Isle.bik`, `Intro.bik`, and `Reflexive.bik` from the archive.
