Ken's Labyrinth is a first-person action game, developed by Ken Silverman, later known for developing the Build engine. In 1999, Ken released the game as freeware. In 2001, Ken also released the source code for the game for free.
The game has 5 different versions. Walken is the beta version of the game. Ken's Labyrinth 1.0 is the shareware official release, and Version 1.1 is the registered version. Ken's Labyrinth v2.0 is the shareware Epic MegaGames release, and Version 2.1 is the Epic MegaGames registered retail release. All versions have been released for free, along with their respective source codes, and are available to download from the developer's website.

Version differences
- Walken is the beta version of the game. It has no menus (function keys are used to save the game) and it is bare-bones compared to the later official releases.
- Ken's Labyrinth v1.0 is the original shareware release. It only includes the first episode. Ken's Labyrinth v1.1 is the full registered version released by the developer.
- Ken's Labyrinth v2.0 is the shareware version of the Epic MegaGames release. Ken's Labyrinth v2.1 is the full registered retail Epic MegaGames release, with additional content not featured in the original v1.1 release.

Epic MegaGames version freezes when SoundBlaster is selected for digital sound effects
The game freezes immediately when a player picks up a weapon or interacts in any way.
This issue has been acknowledged by the developer in the readme file for the Epic MegaGames release.
