Download this patched executable and replace the original one.

Notes

It adds widescreen resolutions and replaces the GameSpy service with OpenSpy to host and join multiplayer games.

Set through console^[1]
Start the game and load the preferred profile. Open the console by pressing `F11`, then type in the following (replacing the numbers with the desired X and Y values for resolution): set r_xres 1920 set r_yres 1080 Restart the game.
