- Extract
ff.7z files to the installation folder (password: ff ).
- Edit
ff.ini to set the resolution, letterbox, subtitles, level of detail distance multiplier and FOV multiplier.
Notes
- Supported executable size: 3 706 880 bytes.
- LOD distance can also be adjusted.
- Incompatible with digital releases, as they support widescreen resolutions natively.

- Disable Steam Cloud via game properties in the Steam library.
- Locate and delete
steam_autocloud.vdf located in %APPDATA%\IO Interactive\Freedom Fighters\Profiles\ .

Poor UI scaling
Configure dgVoodoo 2[14]
|
- Install dgVoodoo 2 for DirectX 8, including the optional step.
- Open
dgVoodooCpl.exe to launch the dgVoodoo 2 Control Panel.
- Click on the DirectX tab.
- Set the Resolution property to the desired rendering resolution.
- (Optional) Disable watermark by unchecking dgVoodoo 2 Watermark checkbox.
- Click Apply and close the dgVoodoo 2 Control Panel.
- Launch the game.
- When the launcher window appears, click on Options.
- Set the Resolution property to the desired value. This will be used to render the HUD/UI. 1080p is optimal for 4K displays.
- Click on the Save button, and launch the game as usual.

- Download Dragon UnPACKer from official site or direct link or mirror link and install it.
- Run program, press Ctrl+H, select search tab, navigate to
<path-to-game> , select streams.wav , press search button and press OK.
- Press Ctrl+A to select all files, press right-click select
Extract files to... Without Convertion , and choose the desired directory. This may take a very short time.
