Key points
- Co-op is local play only with no option for online.
- Seems unfinished possibly due to being released two months after developer filed for bankruptcy.
- No graphics options in-game, all video settings must be changed in the launcher.
General information
Watchmen: The End is Nigh Part 2 is a singleplayer and multiplayer third-person action, brawler and adventure game in the Watchmen series.
Nearly released five months after the first game, Part II received generally unfavorable reviews by critics with one calling it "Insulting". Consensus included the same criticisms of Part I in addition to now lacking content and feeling rushed with some steering readers away to instead buy the first part standalone or only if included together.
Some explanations of Part II's quality came when it was discovered the developer Deadline Games filed for bankruptcy exactly two months prior. They were previously reported having trouble finding new projects, including a co-op shooter called Faith and a .45, to be picked up by a publisher.[1]
