Key points
- The fifth Wonder Boy game. Known as Wonder Boy V: Monster World III in Japan
- The first Wonder Boy game developed originally for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis with ports for Master System and TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine CD. The emulated release available on Steam is the original MD/Gen version
- Not to be confused with Wonder Boy in Monster Land, which is a second game in the series and which doesn't have official PC release
