Epilepsy warning.

Flashes of white violently flicker, rapidly, throughout the game. Don't play this game with even mild epilepsy.

Issues fixed (some copypasted from original superhot page as both games run on the same engine)

Crash on startup/black screen

Before following any of these fixes, make sure the PC meets the minimum system requirements. Otherwise, the game will refuse to run.[2]

General fixes

Launch the game via SH.exe[2]
  • Optional: If there are still issues running the game, run the game in administrator mode (right click the EXE and select Run as Administrator).
Remove or move all save files from the save game data location[2]
Install/reinstall Microsoft .NET 4 Framework[2]
Add SUPERHOT to the antivirus exception list (if applicable)[2]

Comodo Antivirus specific

This fix is only applicable to users with Comodo Antivirus installed on their machines
Bypass false positive[2]
  1. Launch the game with the set -w**** -h**** parameters (where -w**** is the monitor width, and -h**** the monitor height).
    • Ex: For 1920x1080 resolution, use set -w1920 -h1080.
  2. Comodo will then give a warning about malicious content. In the dialog window, click Fix it myself.
  3. Another window from Comodo will then pop up, asking to either block or ignore this file. In the dialog window, click the button along the lines of Ignore this file and claim it as a false report.
  4. Relaunch the game.
