Issues fixed

X-COM asks for CD

The steam version sometimes asks you to insert the CD into the drive. When it does so, the game can't be resumed.

Possible fixes include:

  • Extracting folders from cd.iso and placing them in the X-Com directory. [1]
  • Using a later version of DOSBox (0.74, Steam uses 0.72)

System requirements

DOS
Minimum
Operating system (OS) MS-DOS 5.0
Processor (CPU)
System memory (RAM)
Hard disk drive (HDD) 6 GB free
