Essential improvements

Finding multiplayer games

The master server does not work in game, to get around this follow these steps:

Use Steam's generic server browser[citation needed]
  1. Close the game if it's already running.
  2. On Steam, go to View > Servers.
  3. Click 'CHANGE FILTERS' and change the 'Game' to 'The Ship'.
  4. Hold down shift and select all of the servers in the list.
  5. Right click > Add Server to favorites.
  6. Start The Ship, then go to the server browser and go to the favorites tab.

Notes

Servers must be favourited to be able to see how many REAL players are in the server (the regular server browser counts bots as players).

Skip intro videos

Use -novid command line argument[citation needed]
