Key points

Can only run stably on a single core. See sh2proxy.
The PC version adds improved flashlight lighting, the ability to save at any time during the game, swap weapons without opening the menu, and a movie gallery.
The atmospheric fog and the shadowing are a lot simpler and less refined than the PS2 version.[1]
Max resolution is 1600 x 1200 and aspect ratio is 4:3. sh2proxy makes 1920 x 1080 16:9 and above possible.
Only supports Dinput for controllers and default bindings are awkward. Controls should be adjusted.
Locked to 30 FPS.
