General information
Availability
Loading DLC
- Once a DLC pack is bought and downloaded, it must be enabled from the splash screen of Fallout: New Vegas, under the
Data Files
menu option. Make sure each DLC pack is checked.
Improvements
Mods
- Nexus Mod Manager - the best mod manager for Bethesda games, making the process of installing mods much easier.
- Fallout New Vegas Nexus - the most popular host for almost all Fallout New Vegas mods.
JSawyer
- Requires all DLCs be downloaded and installed in order to work.
- A "general difficulty tweak and bug fix mod" by the creator of the game, JSawyer.
New Vegas Uncut
- Mod author MoBurma has listed content which has been cut from the game due to time constraints.
- Restores content from the game in a number of individual mods.
- Many mods in the series are not compatible with each other, and are not necessarily suited to use in a full playthrough.
NTCore 4GB Patch
- Improves stability for 64-bit operating systems by allowing the game to address up to 4 GB of memory.

Issues unresolved
Player "Sliding"
- Some players have reported that their character will continue to move or "slide" a bit sometimes even after they have stopped moving. Note that this should not be confused for the game engine forcing characters to take a full step when moving.
Issues fixed
- TweakGuides has created a comprehensive guide for fixing issues in this game. It can be found here.
