DSR Watchpup
- Main thread, NexusMods
- While not as powerful as Dark Souls PVP Watchdog for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition due to Dark Souls Remastered's additional anti-cheat features, DSR Watchpup for Dark Souls Remastered provides tools such as rudimentary player anomaly detection and automatic in-game save backups.

Issues fixed
"Fatal error: The system does not meet the minimum memory requirement to run the application"
Install ≥6GB RAM or install DSR.rar fix[3][4] |
---|
Refresh rate setting stuck at 60 Hz
- Changing refresh rate will not remove the 60 FPS cap but will result in less screen-tearing with Vsync off, making for a smoother image without the potential performance impact Vsync can induce.
Fixed via patch released on May 28th[5] |
---|
Issues unresolved
Broken roll and feet animations
- Strange animations when rolling or shifting feet unique to the Remastered version.[6]
Missing ambient sound
- Ambient sound sometimes does not load for example when changing areas.[7]
Reloading fixes temporarily.
