DualShock 3, DualShock 4, DualSense, DualSense Edge
Supported model flags denote support for DualShock 3, DualShock 4, only supporting the first revision of DualShock 4, DualSense and DualSense Edge. The intent of this field is to function much like the Upscaling tech fields in the Video template. Backwards compatible with the old dualshock 4 = argument.
The input arguments for the controllers also support a list of aliases to allow for abbreviations, shorthands and even the names of the consoles the controllers shipped with. Refer to User:Shadowstealer7/Sandbox/Template:Input/ps controllers
PlayStation button prompts
Field has been renamed to genericise support for all PlayStation controllers. Backwards compatible with the old dualshock prompts = argument.
Light bar support
This remains unchanged from previous.
Adaptive trigger support
Flag denotes support for DualSense adaptive triggers, which previously got left to be mentioned in the notes fields and couldn't be queried and/or easily noticed at a glance. Accepts limited as a value, potentially to flag only partial support or if the feature does not work correctly over Bluetooth connections or conflicts with Steam Input.
DualSense haptic feedback support
Flag denotes support for DualSense haptic feedback, which previously got left to be mentioned in the notes fields and couldn't be queried and/or easily noticed at a glance. This is much like the Impulse Trigger field for Xbox One controllers, where it is a haptic feedback feature that is accepted to be different enough to warrant flagging it separately from the standard generic field. Accepts limited as a value, potentially to flag only partial support or if the feature does not work correctly over Bluetooth connections or conflicts with Steam Input.
Connection modes Wired
Renamed from previous. Backwards compatible with the old dualshock 4 modes = argument.
