Why someone would use 1.2 demo executable in retail version?
1) Because it's fully functional in retail version
2) Because it's 100% clean (made by EA)
3) Because some people are paranoid on installing any cracks on their system
4) Because non-DRM executable is the only way of playing the game on modern systems -
5) None form of SafeDisk loader/injector or mini-image works on modern systems as an alternative
6) Not everybody uses 1.3 version

Also, I don't remind myself any written rule here allowing you to delete information just because it's without reference, but I kindly ask pointing me out to the right place if I'm wrong.

Last but not least, can I know the reason why a part of your article cleanup here:

was deleting 44kHz music replacement?
Something didn't work for you? Didn't sound good? Or maybe installation was too convoluted? Or maybe you didn't fully followed the instruction? Please let me know.

Regarding the first issue; it was totally not clear to me at the time that the demo executable could be used because of it not having DRM. Without that information it looked quite strange to me at the time. I will then thus place it back in a few days if you haven't already done so yourself beforehand :) I should just have placed a dubious note instead so someone like you could have explained the matter. Regarding the 44Khz music replacement fix; I don't fully remember... ok, read back from here https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/w/index.php?title=Need_for_Speed:_Most_Wanted&diff=1352053&oldid=1347347 I removed it because the other fixes suggested that it wasn't even needed and as the other fixes were much simpler, it seemed to me better at the time to remove it and keep the simpler fixes intact. But honestly indeed should have just kept the fix in, so will place that one back too in a few days if you haven't beaten me to the punch. Sorry, I made those edits 3.5 months back and have learned a lot regarding editing since; I simply removed too much info in the past sometimes for not good enough reasons where I thus shouldn't have and just should have placed a dubious note or citation request to clear things up. Honestly tried to clean up the page a whole lot and sadly some collateral damage occurred due to some possible errors in judgement on my part. Thanks for pointing these out.

If you have doubts on any other edits I made at the time on this NFS: MW page, feel free to mention them here too. Also, if you beat me to the punch in placing the info back, feel free to add some external or user references to make sure that nobody else makes the same mistakes as I do.

Will try to look into this tomorrow or the day after, please message here if you haven't beaten me to the punch already and I haven't added it yet in three days as I then likely have forgotten.
