Issues unresolved

Crashes to desktop at game launch

Multiple users have reported crashes to desktop. The developers are aware of the issue.[9][10]
Potentially working solutions are available for Nvidia users.
Force the game to use the dedicated GPU[11]
  1. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right-clicking an area on your desktop or by other means.
  2. Click on Manage 3D settings on the sidebar.
  3. Click on the Program Settings tab.
  4. Click on Add, select WWZ, or click on Browse and select <path-to-game>\en_us\client\bin\pc\wwzRetailEgs.exe
  5. Under Select the preferred graphics processor for this program, choose High-performance NVIDIA processor.
  6. Apply the changes.
Remove AMD components[12]
  1. Download the AMD Cleanup Utility for your system.
  2. Run the .exe file and follow the instructions.
Downgrade the Nvidia display drivers to 391.35[13][14]
  1. Download the correct 391.35 drivers for your system.
  2. Run the .exe file and follow the instructions.
