The Oculus Rift is a head mounted, dual-display, virtual reality helmet for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux with support for Unity and Unreal game engines out-of-the-box.
While very few games support the device as of yet, several developers have planned to support the device in their games.
Features
3D
Allows the support of stereoscopic 3D.
Tracking
Allows the support of head tracking. This is achieved with three different degrees of freedom captured via a gyroscope, an accelerometer, and a magnetometer.
