Field of view (FOV)

Add FOV hotkey^[1]
Open `<path-to-game>\Engine\Config\BaseInput.ini` Go to the `GeneralBindings` section. Add the line `+ExecBindings=(Key=F10,Command="FOV 90",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)` (replace `90` with the FOV you want). Press `F10` during gameplay to apply the FOV change.

Remapping

Keys must be rebound manually in the .ini files^[2]

Rebind your keys in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Daylight\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Input.ini.
If you plan to use the left and right arrows for strafing, you need to delete their bindings from the "Turn" command.

Curiously, in-game tutorial button prompts will correctly display the rebound keys, even though the game doesn't allow key rebinding as a default feature.

Change language

Daylight ignores the language set in the Steam library, instead using the current Windows display language.

Change language^[3]
Go to `<path-to-game>\LimaGame\Content\Localization\LimaLoc\` Go to the folder for the language you want. Copy `LimaLoc.archive` and `LimaLoc.locres`. Go back and go into the folder for the language the game is currently using. Paste `LimaLoc.archive` and `LimaLoc.locres` here, replacing existing files when prompted. The game will now run in the language you copied.
