- The "EGA" version runs in 16 colors, while the "VGA" version in 256. Both releases employ SCI engine and have an icon-based point-and-click interface.
- The GOG.com re-release is a bundle based on the 1997 Leisure Suit Larry: Collection Series. It includes:

Issues fixed
Stuck at the airport / Can't progress in the game
- The game uses manual-based copy protection, which is also present in all digital re-releases. A code has to be entered at specific points in the game in order to progress.
- The GOG.com re-release includes a pdf manual, however the codes are virtually impossible to decipher, due to poor quality of the scan.
