Issues unresolved
Music skipping/looping issues on Windows XP
- Disabling audio hardware acceleration in Windows XP makes the game have issues playing music.
- Bug: Sometimes the music cuts out suddenly and the game is left with only sounds, even when hardware acceleration is enabled.
Crash when music is enabled on Windows Vista and above
- Windows Vista and above does not include the Windows Media Source Filter required to play music
Re-installing the DirectShow filter/codec[2] |
---|
1. Force delete dxmasf.dll from SysWOW64 2. Copy drmclien.dll and the new dxmasf.dll to SysWOW64 3. Register dxmasf.dll with the DirectShow Filter Manager |
